"The granite top and backsplash from Lamartine are the main feature, chosen because I was captivated by this specific stone," confesses the homeowner.

The island’s intentional sturdiness proudly showcases the unique stone, which is three to four times thicker than usual, adding a striking element that enhances the entire kitchen. Meanwhile, the backsplash, featuring a mirrored ‘butterfly’ effect, serves as a captivating focal point. As for the flooring, after much debate, the couple opted for a combination of laminate and wood from Unique Flooring. The herringbone style was chosen after careful comparison with the granite top, demonstrating their commitment to meticulous detail.

"We spotted it in a magazine and thought it was really amazing - having that single LED strip looks truly special, and it truly is," recalls the homeowner, challenging initial doubts that it might make the room feel smaller.
